STATE VETERINARIAN UPDATES ORDER FOR DAIRY CATTLE MOVEMENT

State Veterinarian, Dr. Samantha Beaty, has updated the original order she made in regards to dairy cattle being moved across state lines. The updates aligns more with the order that USDA put out.

USDA Orders Testing Of Dairy Cattle Before Interstate Transport

The USDA has issued a mandate that requires dairy cattle receive a negative test for Influenza A virus at an approved National Animal Health Laboratory Network (NAHLN) laboratory prior to interstate movement.
