The Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation proudly welcomes Thomas Capps to the Farm Bureau communications division.
Capps is a Middle Tennessee State University graduate with a degree in multimedia journalism. During college, he worked with the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association and interned with Tennessee Farmers Cooperative and WPSD Local 6, an NBC-affiliate television station in Paducah, Ky. Capps has been employed as a television news reporter and weekend anchor at WPSD-TV for the past three years. He brings a valuable media skill set, primarily focused on video content, to help TFBF tell the story of agriculture.
“We are thrilled to have Thomas join our communications team,” said Executive Vice President Rhedona Rose. “He will no doubt have his hands full with the various media platforms we use to share agricultural happenings, but we are eager to see how he will expand and positively influence how we share the story of how food and fiber makes it to our homes.”
“I am honored to be joining the Tennessee Farm Bureau family,” said Capps. “I’m excited to join the communications team and be a part of telling the story of Tennessee agriculture.”
Outside of work, Capps enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends and watching college sports and the Tennessee Titans. He is a Middle Tennessee native from Rockvale.
