With high land prices and high input costs it seems more and more challenging for young people to enter production agriculture. Josh Worthington, an angus producer from Missouri, travels around telling young folks that they can in fact enter production agriculture. Worthington entered the industry at the age of 33, after quiting his full time job. He recently shared his story with young people at the Tennessee young Leaders Conference, encouraging them to not be scared away from the industry if they have a passion to enter into it.
