UT Extension, in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, is spearheading an effort to host farm recovery centers in East Tennessee. There will be three different centers during the month of May where experts and agencies will be gathered in one place on a single day to provide a one-stop-shop opportunity for farmers who are still in need of assistance following Hurricane Helene.

The goal of these centers is to be informal in structure and designed as a series of stations instead of formal presentations. Each agency or group of experts will have their own table for farmers to move around and talk to folks who align with their needs and with someone who can provide answers to a lot of their questions.
