Logan Browne has been named Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation regional field director for central East Tennessee announced TFBF Executive Vice President Rhedona Rose.

Browne’s role as regional field director will be to serve as the Farm Bureau liaison for eleven counties in central East Tennessee – Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier and Union.

“Logan is a very bright young man with a passion for agriculture. He has the desire and energy to serve the members of Farm Bureau,” said Rose. “President Eric Mayberry and I are excited to have him join the team and look forward to working with him.”

A native of Northwest Ohio, Browne was raised on a beef cattle farm and active in 4-H and FFA. He received an associate degree in agribusiness from Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kan. before receiving his bachelor’s degree in animal science from Texas A&M University. At both universities, Browne participated on the livestock judging teams. He served as an All-American junior college livestock judge and an ag ambassador, and was a member of the All-Kansas academic team, Aggie Beef Raisers and the Saddle and Sirloin clubs. While in college, Browne also interned with 33 Ventures Cattle Company. After graduating, he served as a livestock judging coach at Tarleton State University and was the cattle operations manager for Deer Run Cattle Company.

Joe McKinnon, Field Services Administrator stated, “I am excited to have Logan join the field staff.  I believe the eleven counties he will be serving will quickly see how dedicated he is to agriculture and Farm Bureau.”

Browne and his wife, Cassie, who he met while in school at Texas A&M, currently reside in her hometown of Loudon, Tenn. and has a small herd of red angus cattle.
