Lettie McCord has been promoted to associate director of membership and organizational training for Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation announced TFBF Executive Vice President Bryan Wright.

“Lettie is the perfect fit for this position,” said Wright. “She has been an invaluable regional field director for southern Middle Tennessee, and I am confident her attention to detail, passion for making our organization better and experience these past six years in the field will no doubt be of great benefit to the membership system and our county leaders across the Volunteer State.”

Since 2019, McCord has served as the Farm Bureau liaison for 13 counties in southern Middle Tennessee. She has been critical in helping with the new county presidents training, district presidents meetings, the awards of excellence program and many other county initiatives. In her new role, she will continue assisting with that leadership development in addition to spearheading the membership system.

“Although I have loved working daily with our county leaders as a field staff, I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve them in a different capacity through this new role,” said McCord. “I hope it will allow me to have an impact on Tennessee Farm Bureau in new and exciting ways.”

A native of Pulaski, McCord grew up helping on her family’s beef cattle farm where her and her husband, Zach, currently reside. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a bachelor’s degree in food and agricultural business and then obtained her master’s degree in agricultural and resource economics. McCord interned with Tennessee Farm Bureau in 2016 for Tennessee Livestock Producers and was hired as field staff in 2019.

McCord will take on her new responsibilities on Sept. 1, 2025.
