Tennessee Farm Bureau has released a new iFarmiVote logo in honor of the upcoming election season. This campaign encourages agriculturists from every occupation to practice their right to vote, and it capitalizes on the unique voices of the agriculture industry and the impact they can have on elections.
With a fresh logo, this campaign has taken over social media encouraging followers to act on their civic duty. Along with social media, signs displaying “iFarmiVote” have been distributed to field staff across the state. Now that the logo is revealed, everyone is encouraged to post a photo with the official sign and share why they vote. The individuals that choose to participate in this campaign are encouraged to send in their photos/videos to be featured on the iFarmiVote Instagram, Facebook and Twitter pages. The iFarmiVote campaign will travel across the state of Tennessee to positively influence the number of agriculturists at the upcoming elections.
Agriculture has played a significant role in the election process from the beginning. From scheduling the election days around the nearing harvest to categorizing farmers as an influential voting bloc; it is evident that agriculture continues to have an impact. Every citizen not only has the right to vote, but the privilege to ensure ttheir voice is heard.
Laws and regulations directly influence the effectiveness of our farmers and ranchers. Therefore, their opinions must be taken into consideration by our lawmakers. The only way our stance is heard is by taking action. Stand up for agriculture policies, raise your voice to influence policies impacting agriculture and cast your vote for the future of agriculture.
