Ingredients

  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour muffin pan, or use paper liners.
  3. Mix together sugar, oil and eggs. Add pumpkin and water.
  4. In separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices and salt.
  5. Add wet mixture to dry mixture, and mix together. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Fill muffin cups â…” full with batter.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
