
Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville Herbert College of Agriculture invite you to join us for the Tennessee Leadership Summit June 1–5, 2026. You will meet other outstanding student leaders from across Tennessee during this exciting week while learning about leadership, cooperation, service and developing an understanding of the critical importance of Tennessee’s agriculture industry.
Cost $200 includes:
- Materials for Summit classes/activities.
- All meals from Monday (June 1) through banquet on Friday, June 5.
- Housing in university dorm rooms.
- Transportation to activities during the leadership summit.
- All activities, including dorm life, are supervised by a team of trained counselors.
Please bring:
- Bedding for a twin XL size bed (i.e. sheets, pillow, blanket)
- Personal toiletries (i.e. bath towel, washcloth, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush & toothpaste, deodorant, brush, hairdryer, etc.)
- Technology item (laptop, tablet, or smartphone); if you do not have one, please indicate on your application.
Clothing needed:
- Modest daily casual wear for learning opportunities (i.e. shorts, jeans, or khakis with appropriate shirt).
- Outdoor activity wear (i.e. athletic shorts, shorts, pants with t-shirt).
- Professional attire for closing meal with industry leaders (for ladies, a dress or dress pants outfit; for gentlemen, khakis or dress pants with a button up shirt and tie, sport coat optional).
- Shorts are permitted but need to be modest and appropriate for activities.
- Please note buildings may be cool, so a jacket or sweater may be needed for indoor activities.
- Rain may be in the forecast, so an umbrella or rain jacket may be needed.
- Spending money may be brought to use in campus restaurants, bookstore or if ordering food delivery such as pizza.
