A group of Tennessee 4-H students recently traveled across the state thanking organizations who have support 4-H.

Tennessee 4-H has been shaping youth in the Volunteer State for 100 years now.The various agriculture organizations across the state like the Tennessee Farm Bureau, Tennessee farmers cooperative and the Tennessee Department of Agriculture have been there along the way to support 4-H. In fact, Brown has recently been accepted into Harvard and plans to attend there in the fall,

I received an email about a week after being admitted that said that because of my leadership experiences in 4-H, that they wanted me to be a part of the campus atmosphere and add to it in any way that I could.

My overall message to them would be to keep on giving and that what they give, it’s put to an amazing use, and given to all these youth across Tennessee. I got back into 4-H in the ninth grade, and it is made my public speaking so great and improved from where I was. And I think it’s going to give me a lot of opportunities in life and especially already now I just got back from Alaska, and here soon I’m going to Africa and earlier in January I went to Puerto Rico all with for 4-H which is supported. It’s given me a lot of opportunities

4-H invests in youth in a variety of ways to prepare them to be strong and independent individuals that are ready to make an impact on the world around them. So from the support of organizations like Tennessee Farm Bureau, it’s truly made possible to keep the 4-H program alive and well.
