Where there’s only one aspect and it’s 8% of the Farmers Almanac. The rest is life accent bits of information that I think make life better for people. That’s that’s our intent anyway

Since 1818 the Farmers Almanac has been published and the 2024 edition will be available over the next couple of weeks. And editor Pete Geiger in his 45 years with almanac says while the weather is an important aspect, there’s so much more.

Pete Geiger
Our editors pages is our goal with each edition is to offer you useful and unique guidance that covers everything from when to plant to when the next planetary alignment is happening and how to make lilac lemonade and everything in between

Pete Geiger says this edition of the almanac just like others has all kinds of useful information without any politics and of course, they do include 16 months of weather forecasts, we do the weather we do it two years in advance. We don’t have the opportunity to change our minds. If something happens but I think we do a pretty credible job and if you want to if you have a plan, a wedding plan, a vacation plan something for your family, and then and that’s what the Almanac is about.

Pete Geiger
And while we’ve got lots of warm days ahead still this summer and fall, cold weather is not that far away

Lee Maddox
In your area in particular we think it would be chill, chilly and wet. And what that means we talked about in parts of Tennessee November 16 and 19th wet snow 28th-30th of November snow fast moving storm at the beginning of December. Now two or three storms in January and February cold snap at the end of February. So all of that is in the Farmers Almanac it’s in the book

Pete Geiger
And predictions for next spring and summer for the southeast include balmy, steamy and thundery conditions and you can go to farmersalmanac.com to learn more and sign up for their free newsletter for Tennessee Home and Farm Radio. I’m Lee Maddox
