Farm Bureau Health Plans and Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee are partnering with Tennessee Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers to support the Outstanding Young Woman Contest through a new $5,000 cash award for the state winner.
Announced at Tennessee Farm Bureau’s annual convention in December, the Outstanding Young Woman Award recognizes young women for their Farm Bureau involvement, leadership abilities, advocacy efforts and community engagement. The sponsorship, split evenly between the two companies, enhances the program’s ability to recognize outstanding young women and encourage continued leadership development among Tennessee’s young agricultural advocates.
“Farm Bureau Health Plans is excited to support a program that recognizes and encourages young women who are making a difference in agriculture,” said Farm Bureau Health Plans Chief Executive Officer Ryan Brown. “We are honored to help support their achievements and congratulate their success through this award.”
“For our company, investing in leadership development is an investment in the future of Tennessee agriculture,” said Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee Chief Executive Officer Bobby Pulley. “We are proud to partner in supporting these young women leaders and the important role they play in ensuring the future of Tennessee agriculture.”
In addition to the new sponsored award, the state winner receives from Tennessee Farm Bureau, a trip to the American Farm Bureau Federation YF&R Conference, trips to Tennessee YF&R conferences and the opportunity to serve as ex-officio on the Tennessee Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership State Committee.
The application is available on the Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation website. The deadline to apply is November 1, 2026.
The partnership demonstrates a shared dedication to recognizing leadership, encouraging personal growth and investing in the future of Tennessee agriculture. For more information about the award, visit tnfarmbureau.org/outstanding-young-woman.
